The carbon cost influences research on supply chain network design
Many factors influence carbon emissions across the entire supply chain (see Figure below). Therefore, it is essential to consider these factors holistically and evaluate the trade-offs between carbon emissions and overall supply chain performance.
These factors affect both traditional supply chain performance measures and the additional costs associated with carbon emissions.
